Refurbish an old farmhouse:

Furnishing and renovating an old farmhouse always requires good preparation. The authentic elements must be preserved.

The outer facade was completely insulated, and new windows and doors were installed afterwards. The roof at the bottom also received perfect insulation.

Furthermore, a large veranda was built into a brick outbuilding to create a larger salon.

Given that many residents are now also starting to work from home, it is important to have a nice cozy desk that is closed off from the living space.

Marcottestyle therefore took care of the complete coordination and turned this house into a real home feeling.

New home office:

A residential desk at home is almost a must these days. Here it was deliberately chosen to have a large worktop where two people can easily sit. A large white library with spotlights adds a certain rural charm.

Dining room and lounge with the kitchen form one unit:

A beautiful white country cabinet with a 3m long large table in solid gray oak with beautiful Dimitri chairs around it provide a warm cozy atmosphere.

It was then decided to place the beautiful Dimitri chairs on both sides to give a somewhat more spacious feeling.

The lounge with leather sofa:

The kitchen:

Elegant curtains finish it off. This kitchen is kept quite simple and concretises the rural character. You can also buy the beautiful hanglamp from the collectie Eichholtz  at Marcottestyle. A new cupboard has been installed in the separate rear kitchen that makes the laundry room practical.

Refresh bathrooms:

As it usually used to be, at least one bathroom was missing. We have thus added an additional small bathroom with shower. The existing bathroom was therefore given a major makeover and a third bathroom was also created.

Beautiful fitting curtains not only make the interior warm and cozy, but also ensure harmony in the home.
